Uniform

At Whitecliffe Primary, we are very proud to wear our school uniform as it makes us part of the Whitecliffe family. It makes us look the same so we are all equal.

Main Uniform

Our uniform consists of a burgundy sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan. The uniform with our school logo can be bought directly from our named supplier, School Trends who will deliver to school. You are also able to order several items of our school uniform directly from the School Trends website.

Alternatively, plain burgundy sweatshirts, jumpers and cardigans can be bought from a wide range of stockists including most major supermarkets.

Grey or black skirt, pinafore, trousers or shorts.

White polo shirt, shirt or blouse.

Summer dress of burgundy/red and white checks.

No jeans or track suits please and no polo shirts or trousers in other colours. All school clothing must be named.

Please ensure that children wear sensible black shoes, which are safe to run around the playground in. Children are allowed to bring trainers to change into for playtime if they wish.

P.E Kit

Every child will be, as previously, provided with a school P.E. kit at no cost to parents. The P.E. kit includes a polo-shirt and plain black shorts. During the colder times of year, you may wish to pack a tracksuit for children to wear in addition to their P.E kit. We ask that parents provide their children with suitable footwear for PE such as gym shoes for indoor (plimsolls) or trainers.

Jewellery and make-up

As part of the school Health & Safety Policy, children are only allowed to wear a watch. Other jewellery, such as bracelets and necklaces and ear rings of any kind are not permitted.

Children are NOT permitted to wear make-up to school, this includes the wearing of nail varnish and transfers / temporary tattoos. Children are also NOT permitted to wear oversized bows such as Jojo bows. Please only wear suitable bows or head bands.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones/ smartwatches and other electronic technology must be switched off at the academy gate, kept out of view and remain switched off until students exit the academy gate at the end of the day. If a child is seen with any of the items above in the academy, they will be confiscated, placed in the safe, and will only be returned to a parent/carer.

Whitecliffe Primary Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.
