Post: Pupil Support Officer
Base: Whitecliffe Academy, Mill Lane, Carlin How, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, TS13 4AD

Scale: SCP 8 – 11 (Subject to job evaluation)
Salary: £20,493 – £21,748 (FTE, Salary to be pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Working: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Northern Education Trust is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated individual to work under the direction of the Welfare and Attendance Manager to support key aspects of safeguarding and welfare and to lead on attendance and behaviour across Whitecliffe Academy and Badger Hill Academy.

The successful candidate will:

  • be able to work under the direction of the Attendance and Welfare Manager/Designated Safeguarding Lead to support key aspects of the safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
  • be confident to lead on the implementation of the behaviour policy and its administration
  • be organised and efficient to provide administrative support to promote academy attendance strategies
  • be proficient in the use of ICT, to analyse attendance data and impact positively on improving attendance for particular groups and individuals
  • to take on an active role in the life of the school to build positive relationships with children and families
