Post: Welfare & Attendance Officer
Base: The Ferns Primary Academy, Plodder Lane, Farnworth, BL4 0DA

Scale: SCP 19 – 23 (Subject to job evaluation)
Salary: £24,799 – £26,999 (FTE, Salary to be pro rata)
Contract: 15 hours per week working term time only (39 weeks)
Closing Date: 1st June 2020

Northern Education Trust The Ferns Primary Academy is seeking to a Welfare and Attendance Officer from September 2020.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the development of safeguarding and child protection policies, training and procedures and guidance for the academy.
  • Lead on the coordination of referrals, arranging action and reviewing service for children and families.
  • Lead on the implementation of the behaviour policy and its administration.
  • Provide administrative support to promote academy attendance strategies.
  • Be part of the safeguarding team.
  • Support the academies daily attendance calls and home visits.
